Hi, I'm Dahv. I make photos. Originally from the Kootenays, I moved to Victoria in 2010 to attend university where I studied Microbiology and Computer Science. Photography has always been a passion of mine as it seemlessly blends the science of optics with the artistic qualities of symmetry, asthetics, colour, texture, emotion and light. A good photo has the power not only to awe the viewer with its artistic elements but to also evoke a personal response within them by communicating a deeper meaning. I find this duality fascinating and it drives me to keep making images that I use to try and inspire thought, emotion and wonder.
